Origin of name - Derived from the scientific subspecies name for jellyfish - 'Scyphozoa.'
Essence Ability - They can manipulate the pigment in their skin to change colors.
Culture - Scyphozomes have a long history of living in the shadows. Assassins and saboteurs, their clans used to have tremendous power. The major clans were wiped out during the Great War and many now choose to live normal lives in the integrated cities of the Burku kingdom - and then under the reign of the conquering Dhaiga, though some chose to resist and organized rebellions across the empire.
Physical Attributes - Very thin race with clammy, misty white skin, almost florescent and nearly opaque. They have bobs at the end of their hair strand that holds electric charges, including the hair they tend to grow on their chins. Their "hair" is an extension of their skin, and thus they are able to control them like fingers.
